Literacy

Literacy had enabled us to help people learn things that are new to them and everything related to school education. The best thing was to help them learning new things but we were also their teachers and it was a new experience and very positive for us. The classes should be very dynamic so that people wouldn’t look boring and din’t leave. In breaks we gave them a small lunch for them and their children and then returned to classes. We not only teached subjects like math, English, literature, etc, we also teached values what is most important to their lives. There were negative things for example I can say that there are illiterate people who have not been interested in coming to school and they wanted to be paid or something like that, it makes me think that these people were not interested in more developed intellectually and success in their lives. There are others who take great effort to learn and this is going to show all classes or even most of them, whatever the situation they show much interest in each class to learn more. Saturdays were not always appropriate to the classes because many people work or are employed and therefore didn’t come very often. A good thing was that the school helped us with equipment for example with the classrooms and the lunch room to provide a small luch to them. The help with the books was excellent because it can guide us well, and also with our knowledge of primary education.

Justice Part 2

…. Jane was scared because Anna was the girldfriend of her father, but she thought this must be a coincidence. Then the two murderers were discussing because it was risky to kidnap someone, then Jane thought why they kidnapped her. Alan in the hospital was very concerned because Jane didn’t return since a long time. The next day he received a call from Anna with an angry voice and she told about what happened with his daughter, Alan couldn’t believe it because Anna was a nice person with him and she was his girldfriend. Anna warned that if Alan tell to the police of the kidnapping, she will kill his daughter and Anna hung up the call. The first days he didn’t tell to the police but he was very worried. Jane passed all the time with a headband in her eyes so she couldn’t see anything but she could heard all. One day Anna called to Alan asking if he had said something, he said no and she hung up the call. Alan lost contact of Anna some days and he started to think that his dughter was die. So he decided to tell to the detectives about all, that he thought that Anna was the terrorist and all about the kidnapping so they decided to help him. One day Jane realized that Anna was gone and there was just Kev, then she shouted and the kidnapper went to see it. She had taked off the ropes and she surprisingly taked his gun and killed him. She ran into the street and saw Anna returning, then she ran to a subway train station and was followed by Anna. The police arrived with Alan and the detectives and went down to look. Jane ran as fast as she could in a rails and she listened a train coming and she scaped of it but Anna wasn’t very fast,so she died. Alan and Jane were together again and hugged, and Jane told her father that in the world will always be justice.

Comment:
The end of this story is unexpected because the protagonist made incredible things for example she killed one kidnapper and she was very quiet I never thought she would. The final was suspended because Jane could die in any moment, but she was very intelligent and cunning. This book was always very bloody and terrifying because it explains in great detail all the acts especially of violence but it gives realism to the story.

Comment (Why did you choose this book?):
I chose this book because is an interesting story about terrorist that killed important people, this story is about suspense and at the same time of terror because you can imagine all the people die and killed brutally.

Characters:
Jane Cole
Alan Cole
The terrorist Anna and Kev

Summary:
It was an special night because the Queen was coming to the city and a lot of people were there to see her. Jane Cole who was a tourist guide, was in charge of two people to show the route of the coach’s queen, but they were too far of it. There was another woman in the public who tried to take a picture of the Queen and Jane thought this woman would only take picture of all people’s heads. Alan Cole was the driver of the Coach and also Jane’s father, he parked the Queen’s coach in front of the Parliament. When Alan stopped and suddenly became a huge explosion in the coach and a white light. Then Jane survived and her father too but with a problem in his leg because a horse was on it. They went to a hospital and a doctor told them that it was an attack to the Queen by terrorist but she was alive. The bad new was that Alan lost his leg. Alan had lost his wife a long time ago, so he used to met women, one of them was Anna to whom he loved too much and he wanted to see her again after the attack. Jane didn’t know about her and her father said her to send Anna a letter he wrote and finally Jane accepted. She went to the address but she wasn`t there, she had moved, so Jane decided to go to her aparment. When she arrived a she heard a strange sound in the kitchen, when she went to see a woman caught her mooring his hands and feet and covering her head. Then a man appeared and started to talk, Jane was scared about that because she was alone. Then Jane heard the man call to the woman with the name Anna.....

Comment:
This is an interesting book because everything leads others, the idea of the bomb and terrorist is good and the murders, trying to kill an important person like the Queen.
