Lupins classwork

Doing a homework about lupins me and all my classmates learned about this type of plant. The lupins are a plant that is also a very particular grain of the mountains of South America especially Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. This grain called lupin is very good because the majority of species have seeds with good protein, a good proportion of fiber, sugars and minerals like cobalt, phosphorus and potassium. Usually they come in the form of grain and in Ecuador we eat it together with onions, in salads or in ceviches. There are several types of lupins as some are for decorate and others to eat. The flower is not very tall because it becomes a maximum of fifty centimeters, the flower color is usually purple or yellow, the seeds are small oval and white. The dry seeds can be used to decorate many objects but you must know how to do it and at the school doing a classwork me and my group with silicone we stick around a figure of an ecuatorian famous character Rumiñahui. We did it forming a necklace and paste the lupins on the base of the figure. At the final the figure that we decorated was very nice. But with the eating lupins we did a ceviche. This activity was cooking it. This class we did together with the biology where we were learned about the proteins. First we started buying all the materials that were: lupins, onions, salt, orange and lemon juices and ketchup, then we mix the juice trying to make it not too much sweet or too sour. Once we get the juice, we began to mix the onions with lupins and then we put the juice and ketchup. Finally we get the ceviche of lupins and ate it with the classmates and teachers.
